What you told me in March, I'll still know in September. If you want me to forget something, tell me: I'll put it in front of you and you confirm. Everything I remember about you is in the copy of your data you can request in My file. You never have to explain yourself twice.

From your preferences and search distance to notifications, taking a break, forgetting something or extending your search: tell me in our conversation and I'll set it up, with your details already filled in.
Your photo stays yours.
No other member gets to see your photos, not even after a match. The other person sees an AI portrait that looks like you. Only a team member who reviews photos sees them. When you upload a photo, I remove hidden information such as its location.
Two suggestions at a time, at most. I'm not a conveyor belt.
I keep looking for as long as your search runs. As soon as there's room for a new suggestion, I'll include you in my next round. There are never more than two suggestions open at once.
Need a break? Put me on pause. Your search period keeps running in the meantime.
Two yeses, then it's up to you.
If the other person says yes too, I put you in touch. After that, I stay out of it. If one of you wants to stop, I'll close the conversation and let the other person know gently.
What I read, and what I don't.
Every message gets an automatic safety check. Beyond that, nobody routinely reads your conversations. If something isn't right, report it and a team member will review it. Not everything is caught automatically. I'm not an emergency service. If someone is in immediate danger, call 112.
Your data stays yours.
There's a Belgian company behind me, built around European privacy rules. I don't sell your data or use it for advertising. If you want me to forget something, tell me or email support@matchedbybarry.com. Everything I remember about you is in the copy of your data you can request in My file.
I'm built to get you off your screen.
I'm not built to keep you busy: no streaks, medals or applause. Suggestions arrive in the evening, and at night it stays quiet.
In the end, I look at one number: how many people met in person this week.
